Marriott Bonvoy X The Australian Open
As part of their sponsorship, Marriott Bonvoy was given the opportunity to be part of a new Non-fungible-token (NFT) digital project being run by the Australian Tennis Open, where brands were invited to design their own NFT tennis balls. Our team created artwork for a collection of different tennis balls that spoke to the Marriott Bonvoy brand's values around inspiring experiences and modern solutions.
NFI what an NFT is?
As part of the Metaverse project AO Art Ball NFTs were minted so tennis fans could forever own a piece of the AO 2022. Each AO Art Ball’s metadata was linked to a square on the tennis court surface. If the winning shot from any of the 400+ AO matches lands on that plot, the NFT metadata will be updated in real-time to highlight the match information. Additionally, the NFT’s with have utility such as limited-edition wearables, AO merchandise, and other benefits in the future.
